Derived from the Latin word Salvia, meaning “to save”, Salvestrols are a specialised group of natural compounds found in deeply coloured fruits and vegetables. Plants produce them as a defence against infections, and extensive research has identified the best sources - organic varieties of oranges, blueberries, blackberries, and grapes, as the most beneficial for supporting our health.
